Springtime is here which means so is Easter! Santa came and went, now it’s the Easter Bunny’s time to shine. Check out these COVID-conscious Easter activities for a chance to meet Peter Cottontail himself.
Easter Bunny Hop
Hop on out to Deer Park’s Chamberlin Park for the Easter Bunny Hop! The Bunny Hop is in lieu of the Annual Easter Egg Hunt, and with many exciting twists. The Deer Park Silverton Fire Department will be transporting the Easter Bunny along with a special guest (hint: ho ho ho) to the park. This event is similar to the Santa Dash, hopping a couple laps around the park!

Kids Easter Drive-Thru
Go from Chamberlin Park to Northern Hills United Methodist for their Easter Drive-Thru! Pick up Easter baskets filled to the brim with candy, books, and crafts. Everything is individually packaged for this COVID-19 season.

Egg Hunt in Washington Park
This year’s annual Egg Hunt comes with a twist! There will be a two-day scavenger hunt throughout the park and a prize for those who complete the hunt. That sounds absolutely egg-celent!
Staff will be handing out individually wrapped eggs to those participating in the scavenger hunt. Pre-registration is highly recommended.
Time: Saturday, March 27 and Sunday, March 28 at 11-3 PM

Easter Bunny at Pride Park – Taylor Mill, KY
Your family won’t even have to get out of the car for this one, AND you get to meet the Easter Bunny! The Easter Bunny will visit each car with a special treat. This activity is in substitution for the Easter Egg Hunt.

Hoppin’ at Harbin – Fairfield
Calling all egg-splorers! Fairfield Parks and Recreation are hiding six large wooden eggs in six of their 29 parks for a contest. Find all six eggs, snap a photo with them, and send them to the Community Event Coordinator to win a prize! Click the link above for more details. This is a creative alternative to the typical Hoppin’ at Harbin event, wouldn’t you say?
Time: Begins Monday, March 29 – Ends Sunday April 4

Drive-Thru Easter Egg Hunt with Legacy Pointe Church
No one will have to get out of the car for this one either. Drive on through to get your Easter Egg Hunt To-Go Bag – Easter egg crafts, coloring sheets, a Resurrection story for children, and more!

Easter Egg Trunk Hunt
Join in the fun at this trunk or treat style Easter egg hunt at the St. William School parking lot. Participants are asked to host a basket of about 100 items (wrapped candy, fun-filled eggs, bubbles, etc.). Kiddos will fill their baskets as they visit each trunk. Plus, there will be mystery prize eggs being distributed!

Bunny Brunch Class
Have you ever wondered what bunnies eat for brunch? Tasty greens of course! This is bound to be an egg-citing class for the whole family. Plant a bunny brunch pot and meet the Easter Bunny for photo opportunities.

Adult Easter Egg Hunt
This one’s for the grown-ups, although all ages are welcome! Be at the CinCity Harley-Davidson shop at 12:30 PM to enter the free contest that starts at 1 PM. There are opportunities for some awesome prizes, so don’t miss out!

Anderson Parks Egg Hunts
Hop over to the East side and join in on the egg hunts! There is a cost for tickets that have to be ordered at the link above. Find as many eggs as you can, and return them for a goody bag and prizes!

Easter Bunny Express
This is a little north of Cincinnati and the most costly event on this list, but totally worth it for the train-lovers. Meet the Easter Bunny on a train ride aboard the LM&M Express! Then, take a pit stop for nothing other than an Easter egg hunt on the way back to the station.
Time: March 27, 28 and April 2, 3, 4 – there are several departure times per day

If you feel up to catching the sunrise Easter morning before church, this is your opportunity to share it with a community. Hang out with a parent group from Clifton United Methodist Church at Mt. Storm Park to celebrate the Resurrection.

Independence Easter Bunny Trail
If you don’t mind crossing the river, this experience will be one to remember. Drive through the Easter Bunny Trail for your chance to watch circus performers, get a goodie bag, and pose in photo ops with different characters! This event is FREE, but is it required to register at the link above.
