15 Best Cincinnati Fish Fries 2022

Lent is here and that means it’s time for the All About Cincinnati annual list of the best fish fries in Cincinnati for 2022.  COVID-19 put a damper on things last year, but this year many places are back to business as usual and some even have some new things added.

Grab the family and head out to one of these fish fries soon – they’re only available for a very limited time.

1. St. Margaret of York 

St. Margaret of York didn’t partake in the fish fry last year, but this year they are back!  Enjoy hand-dipped, beer-battered cod, baked salmon, shrimp and lots of sides for dine-in or carryout.

2. Maximilian Kolbe

Check out their signature combo platter with a crab cake, beer battered shrimp and cod, plus two sides.  Pizza also available, dine-in or prepaid pickup only.

3. St. Williams Price Hill

You have to try their hand-breaded “Magnificod”, or other menu items like tilapia, beer-battered code, crab cakes, even grilled cheese and salad for the vegetarians, and plenty of sides to go with your meal.  Drive-thru only.

4. American Legion Post #484 

Enjoy a large menu of options every Friday during Lent, including Good Friday at the local American Legion Post #484. Meals include coffee or tea, and the menu choices include fish, shrimp and barbecue dinners, chicken tenders and lots of sides. Beer available.

5. Guardian Angels Parish 

Guardian Angels Parish fish fry menu includes their fish sandwich and crab cakes, macaroni and cheese, cole slaw, and even some pizza for the kids.

6. St. Thomas More Withamsville

7. Mary, Queen of Heaven Fish Fry 

Y’all, this one might be the most extensive menu for a fish fry I’ve ever seen.  Mary, Queen of Heaven Church could also be called Queen of Fish Fry!  There’s grilled cheese, multiple choices of fish, shrimp, mac and cheese, tomato soup, and more!

8. Knights of Columbus at St. Teresa’s

Voted One Of The Best In Area. Hand-Breaded Fish Fillet almost twice the size of the bread.  Dine In and carryout are available and everything is reasonably priced.
Adult Meals $12, Fish Sandwich $7, Children (6-11) $7 & Toddlers (0-5) FREE
Take the family for a great dinner and know that the proceeds from this event are supporting charities within Indiana.

9. Our Lady of Lourdes Boy Scout Troop 471

Choose from Breaded Cod Fillets, Baked Salmon, Breaded Shrimp, Cheese Sticks, Mac ‘n Cheese, Fried Mushrooms French Fries, Green Beans, Drinks, Kid’s Meal and Homemade Desserts! (Seniors age 65+ early bird special from 5:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m. 10% off.)

10. Catholic Kolping Society 

Check out the Kolping Society will be having a split-the-pot at their fish fry this year.  Enjoy their  fried and baked fish, or shrimp dinner while you try your luck.

11. St. Bernard Catholic Church Annex Winton Place

Choose from Fried & Baked Fish, Mac-N-Cheese, Green Beans, Cole Slaw, Beverages & Desserts. Carryout available and credit cards are accepted.

5:30 – 730pm on April 8 | 745 Derby Ave.

12. St. James of White Oak

They’re back for 2022!  The menu is overflowing, including fried and baked fish, shrimp, sandwiches and pizza!  Servatii’s pretzels and North College Hill Bakery bread, along with domestic and craft beers available.  Dine in or use My Menu Helper app.

4:30 – 730pm on April 1, April 8 | 3565 Hubble Road

13. St. John Neumann’s Cincinnati

You’ll get all the favorite fish fry foods plus grilled cheese, pizza, coleslaw and various refreshments.  Dine in or carryout, cash or check only.

5 – 730pm on April 8 | 12191 Mill Rd.

14. St. Columban 

This year’s menu includes fried cod or shrimp, salmon, fish tacos, buffalo shrimp wraps, pizza and several sides to round out your fish fry meal.

15. St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Milford

You can choose from fish, shrimp, combo, baked tilapia, or salmon, then each meal includes slaw and your choice of two of the following side, dishes ~ new potatoes, French fries, green beans, mac & cheese, onion rings.  Prices are $10 – $11, so a pretty good deal!

Just to give you a little more detail of our fry, know that we serve Servatiis salted rye bread, homemade coleslaw and German beers available to purchase via drive thru! On occasion we have the Graeters ice cream truck out front for dessert needs. We hope to be in house next year with a more extensive menu. We hope to see you visit!
